Eight presents delectable festive cuisine, carefully prepared from fresh New Zealand produce. Experience a culinary journey with eight different taste experiences, inspired by global flavours. Chefs will prepare food 'live' in front of you using the freshest ingredients and will ensure each meal is expertly created to your personal tastes and requirements.
Pre-Christmas and Christmas Eve at Eight
Celebrate the Christmas season with lunch or dinner at Eight.
Eight has eight interactive kitchens offering a selection of fresh cuisine prepared from locally sourced ingredients. This Christmas Eight will offer chilled oysters, prawns, market fresh fish, sushi with a festive twist, grilled beef sirloin steak and a mouthwatering prawn curry.
To finish, Eight's pastry corner will have special Christmas treats including gingerbread, warm Christmas pudding with brandy sauce, coconut macaroons and rum balls, along with cheese and other delectable delights.

Christmas Eve dinner from 6.00pm-10.00pm NZ$69 per person
Children aged 5-12 years are half price, and children 4 years and under are free.
Christmas Day at Eight
On 25 December, Eight's lunch and dinner fare will be transformed into a Christmas wonderland ensuring a memorable Christmas for all, offering a wide selection of cuisine including traditional Christmas turkey served with cranberry sauce, a variety of grilled meats, market fresh fish, a wide selection of fresh shellfish and oysters on ice.
For something a little different try a special wok dish with your choice of ingredients or perhaps an authentic Indian curry or handmade sushi.
A decadent dessert bar will make a perfect finish to the festive season, with a chocolate fountain flavoured with cinnamon, Christmas cookies including gingerbread, cinnamon stars, vanilla crescents, traditional Christmas mince pies, warm Christmas pudding with brandy anglaise, Christmas fruitcake, summer pudding and traditional European yule log.
