Chuan Spa at The Langham, Auckland is delighted to welcome Amanda Heger to the role of Spa Operations Manager at the five-star hotel’s luxury spa.

Amanda will head Chuan Spa Auckland during its second successful year of business and is excited to be on board, as the spa continues to lead the way with innovative new products and treatments.

“The Chuan Spa experience, based on the principles of Traditional Chinese Medicine, is totally unique in New Zealand and the holistic philosophy of Chuan Spa is something I am passionate about, after many years of working in the spa and beauty industry,” say Amanda.

Amanda’s extensive experience includes working both in New Zealand and overseas with a career highlight to date, being her time working on a P&O cruise liner based out of the UK, where she was an onboard spa manager and gained valuable experience working with international leisure guests.

“I am very much looking forward to working with the Chuan Spa concept, as for me, it represents the ultimate in luxury. The blending of ancient traditions for wellbeing with contemporary five-star spa excellence, provides an authentic high-end experience, which is exactly what our guests are seeking,” says Amanda.

Chuan Spa Auckland’s most recent treatment has been designed with the international traveller in mind as the New Zealand inspired, Aotearoa Aura spa treatment, virtually transports the guest around New Zealand through a range of sublime experiences including a pounamu and Manuka honey facial. A further development at Chuan Spa will be the launch of a prestigious, international skincare brand, which will be available exclusively at Chuan Spa from 1 September.

Chuan Spa is a founding member of Best Spas of New Zealand and Amanda will lead a team of seven therapists.
