The Langham will hold the grandest, and potentially largest, afternoon tea in the land on Sunday 9 May and wishes to invite all families, looking for a legendary way to spoil their beloved mother on this special day. The Langham is delighted to have partnered with MiNDFOOD Magazine to host The Langham/MiNDFOOD Mother’s Day Grand Afternoon Tea with well known broadcaster and mother Petra Bagust as the guest speaker for the event.

The five-star hotel’s brand new ballroom, The Great Room, will host the glittering event which will feature a decadent afternoon tea buffet running the length of The Great Room and which will be a spectacle to behold in itself! The afternoon tea will be a combination of the hotel’s Signature, Wonderland and Chocolate Afternoon Teas. There will be a jazz quartet performing throughout the afternoon, live entertainment with an 'Alice' character from Wonderland enchanting children, a Deutz Bubbly Bar for purchasing sparkling wine and a range of gorgeous spot prizes. This is in addition to Petra Bagust speaking and also the 'cuddly cook’ Annabelle White, sharing afternoon tea etiquette tips for Langham ladies. A luxury goody bag will be given to each guest on departure. The event runs from 1.30pm – 4pm on Sunday 9 May.
